Technical and Organisational Security Measures

Belron Solutions AS implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, in accordance with Article 32 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

These measures are designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, or access.


Technical Measures

Where applicable, Belron Solutions AS applies technical safeguards including:

  • Access controls based on roles and responsibilities;

  • Strong authentication mechanisms, including multi-factor authentication;

  • Encryption of personal data;

  • Secure system configuration and change-management practices;

  • Logging, monitoring, and detection of security events;

  • Backup, recovery, and availability controls.


Organisational Measures

Belron Solutions AS also applies organisational safeguards including:

  • Documented data-protection and information-security policies;

  • Appointment of a Data Protection Officer (DPO);

  • Privacy and security awareness activities for personnel;

  • Incident and personal-data breach management procedures;

  • Vendor and subprocessor due diligence and contractual safeguards;

  • Integration of privacy-by-design principles into systems and services.


Review and Maintenance

Security measures are reviewed periodically and updated as necessary to reflect changes in technology, risk, and regulatory requirements.
